The Fall Guy

The Fall Guy (2024), directed by David Leitch and starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, is an action-comedy that blends thrilling stunts with a lighter, more humorous narrative. Loosely inspired by the 1980s TV series, the movie follows Colt Seavers (Gosling), a stuntman who gets embroiled in a high-stakes situation on a movie set in Australia. When the lead actor, Tom Ryder (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson), goes missing, Colt is asked to use his skills to track him down. This leads to a series of action-packed and comedic moments as Colt navigates dangerous situations while reconnecting with his ex-girlfriend and first-time director, Jody (Blunt). The movie showcases plenty of exciting stunts, including car chases and sky-high feats, but also delves into the behind-the-scenes chaos of moviemaking.
